Mama may have said to eat your fruits and veggies—but we say work ‘em into your wedding décor. Sarah and Zach’s organic-as-ever, indie wedding at The Addison Grove filled us up with all of the good things—fresh produce included.
A major aim of our team at XO Moreau is to plan parties that aren’t just pretty—but undeniably epic (and, yeah, a little envelope-pushing)…and we do so by incorporating what we like to think of as “fingerprint” design elements—things that are entirely unique to each couple. So when we heard Sarah and Zach used to make mix tapes for each other, we tossed traditional place cards right where they belong (on a pile of light-and-airy Pinterest boards) and opted for sunflower-yellow cassette tapes instead. Their penchant for stargazing inspired glowing star lanterns suspended over the dance floor in The Addison Grove’s iconic barn, and their love for all-things organic translated into a clean, cream wedding cake, unstructured greenery, and bundles of local produce peppered throughout the tablescapes. Listen—if this one doesn’t make you want to bite into a crisp apple, throw on your best bolo tie, and hit the dance floor—we don’t know what will.
