THE DETAILS
The couples arrived on Monday to an al fresco welcome dinner in Ancient Rome complete with rustic farmhouse tables, delicate florals, and miniature Italian busts. On Tuesday, they galloped into the Wild West for a panel with expert wedding pros (including our very own Alex Moreau) in the morning, and breakout sessions with our experts in the evening. We’re not sure what we loved more: sharing our best tips to plan a wedding that’s true to their personalities; transforming the New York venue into a Western saloon decked out with potted cacti and country plaids; or stacking the day’s itinerary with a breakfast bloody mary bar, evening s’mores station, and treehouse movie night (complete with sarsaparilla floats) fit for a cowboy. Wednesday was jam-packed with unique activities — like a retro pickling class with funky striped tablecloths and other mod details — to inspire the couples as they created their wedding registries on TheKnot.com. That night, the Influencer Crew walked through a lighted tunnel into the future and the “The Best Is Yet To Come” gala — our biggest design transformation of the week. We draped a 300-person banquet hall into an intimate, futuristic space that wowed with monochromatic dining spaces, a Euphoria-style glitter bar, and an 8-foot robot photo opp. The evening ended with a sick 90s-themed afterparty where everyone noshed on a nostalgic junk food charcuterie board and then burned off some of those Gushers on the dance floor.
2022 was waiting for us all on Thursday morning as we said our goodbyes. The couples left with inspiration and loads of killer Instagram content, ready to rock their wedding planning with The Knot’s help. And Team XO Moreau left the weekend feeling super grateful to The Knot for having us plan and design such a rad event with the help of our incredible vendors.
