Where do we even begin? There’s the crazy-beautiful bride captured by Brook Taelor Photography donning a folksy bridal hat in an image that’s worthy of an indie album cover. There are the stunning florals by the one-and-only Good Seed Floral that prove, once and for all, pampas grass arrangements are an artform. And then there’s the venue, Mae’s Ridge, a modern barn wedding venue tucked just outside of Austin that offers the kind of gorgeous clean-slate aesthetic wedding planners with wild visions and weird ideas (oh hey, that’s us) can’t wait to get our hands on.
Needles to say, Shelby and Kyle’s earthy nuptials at Mae’s Ridge have us all kinds of weak in the knees. A massive marquee sign that read “PARTY TIME” (a nod to a tattoo the groom got with friends years ago) set the tone for a night of high vibes—while a palette of dusty rose, rust, and terracotta kept the aesthetic down-to-earth in the best possible way. Guests fueled up with signature cocktails and mouth-watering food-truck grub from Slab BBQ and Garbo’s Lobster Rolls—and the happy couple sped away in none other than a vintage Mustang. Nom nom. Vroom vroom. This one was a wild, wild ride—and we loved every second of it.
