cocktail hour was a full blown casino with blackjack, poker, roulette, showgirls, candy cigarettes and enough custom poker chips to make everyone forget they were still technically at a wedding.

onto a reception filled with palm trees, orchids, green velvet, hot pink and cheetah print. and just when the night had established a personality, we changed it again —

emo hour. early 2000s screamo on the dance floor, bartenders in scene wigs and black cocktails behind the bar.

no blotchy transitions. no explanations. just a really good party 🌴

nothing says the morning after in los angeles quite like a backyard brunch and a few permanent decisions before noon 🤍

iron bistro tables, cabbage plates, layers of garden-inspired details, and all the brunch cocktail essentials.

a handful of guests left with their first tattoos ever, including @lanacondor and @anthonydltorre, who got their wedding date tattooed on their arms ☀️💫🦢🪽✨

my name is alexandra moreau but you can call me alex 🤍 i’ve been advised by someone much more wise than i to share a few things here about myself. turns out last time i did so was 2024, but when you have so much fire event content to share, who even has space on the ‘gram??

we can start with day one — i was born at 7:23am on december 5. the year is irrelevant unless your guess is flattering. then, by all means 🤗

ha ha he he all jokes aside, i’m just a weird gal living in my own weird little world. i like when things are equal parts gorgeously designed + very fun and cool + unexpected, with a touch of wtf. that’s the approach i took with XO Moreau and while it’s definitely not the vibe for everyone, it hits hard with the people it does. i’m true to myself and who i am, which inspires me to create events true to my clients and who they are.

therefore, you should let me throw you a party! it’ll be the best decision you ever make in your entire life (probably) 🤪🤍

you only turn 50 once, and when you’re already known for throwing a damn good party, obviously the 50th has to be completely insane and the best one yet!! 🎈

a full custom dive bar built in the courtyard. hidden rooms. surprises everywhere. and an entire new orleans absinthe bar hidden inside of a standard hotel room, complete with beignets, zoltar, and obviously a four-piece jazz band. because why would you NOT put a four-piece jazz band inside of a hotel room???

every corner had another world to walk into, another thing to discover, another “wait WHAT is in there?!” not sure how many parties can pull off serving both high end caviar and hot dogs, but we nailed it.

and this is what events are about!! immersive, unexpected, totally unhinged, and SO. MUCH. FUN. and somehow we haven’t even shown you a quarter of it yet 😎

sara and chris got married right on the edge of lake lucerne, surrounded by delphinium spires taller than the ceremony chairs and little mountains of blush and ivory blooms mirroring the real ones across the water. the swiss alps did quite a bit of the heavy lifting here, but we weren’t about to let them have all the fun 🤍

we took a venue built for 300, shrunk it down to a

we took a venue built for 300, shrunk it down to an intimate dinner for 40, and dr. seuss’d every corner of it. red corner, green corner, yellow corner, blue corner. four corners, four completely different personalities 🟥🟩🟨🟦

this one was for @theknot, part of a multi-day event teaching influencers how to plan their own weddings. we used drapery to completely change the scale of the space, then colorblocked each corner into its own little world of textures, patterns + tones within a single color. four totally different environments, all making up one dinner party.

and then there was the purple room. to get there, you crossed a black led-glowing hallway that made you feel like you’d wandered into outer space, only to enter and find an led robot waiting on the other side 🤖🪐💜

hannah and max’s wedding never had one lane. it had nine, running at the same time, and somehow every single one worked. tangerine, marigold, amethyst, lavender, ruby, azure, rose, flamingo + canary. vibrant, retro, whimsical, lush and very ethereal. all of it, all at once, all over the tent.

florals hung from every pole like they were growing down instead of up. a fountain wrapped head to toe in blooms because a plain fountain in the middle of all that color felt like a missed opportunity. flower-shaped place cards. a candy-striped bar that looked like it wandered in from a boardwalk. retro bones with a storybook heart, and somehow none of it fought for attention.

maximalism gets a bad reputation for feeling chaotic. but this is what it looks like when every loud decision is actually a confident one 🥝🍊🪸❤️‍🔥🌈✨🦋
