Client Wedding

Kristen + Rob

Elegant cowboy vibes at the Fort Worth Stockyards Station
Giddy up, partner — it’s time to get hitched. Except Kristen and Robert didn’t want your typical country wedding. Good thing our team at XO Moreau doesn’t do typical. We accepted their challenge and set out to pull off our most Houdini-esque transformation yet: turning the massive, historic, industrial cattle stockyards in Fort Worth, TX, into an intimate, elegant wedding venue befitting a country king. Strategy was the name of the game for this wedding. We used hardcore space planning and aethereal white draping to cozy-up the 225-person Heritage Room at Stockyards Station into the perfect ceremony and reception venue for the happy Houston couple and 100 of their guests. We balanced the new streamlined, classy look with some subtle callbacks to the stockyards’ yeehaw roots: a sweet donkey brought guests cold bottles of Shiner Bock upon arrival, whimsical ranunculus sprung from vintage cowboy boots on the bar, and everyone cured their late-night cravings with munchies from Whataburger. That, and the incredible Jordan Kahn Orchestra threw in some country classics that totally slapped. Kristen, Rob and their guests partied Texas eleganza style until the cows came home — literally.

Vendor Shoutouts

THE VIBE

Elevated industrial. Stockyards Station got a fresh look thanks to our all-white color palette, custom draping, and lush florals. Yeehaw never looked so good.
