Tricia + Justin

Funky 90s vibes at Houston’s Gin at Hidalgo Falls
Oops, we did it again — we completely transformed a country wedding venue into a glitzy wedding befitting the Fresh Prince of Houston! When Tricia and Justin approached us with their vision of a classy, colorful wedding day mixed with some sass, we grabbed our Lisa Frank journals and started planning a nostalgic, over-the-top, 90s-inspired wedding. Tricia and Justin chose The Gin at Hidalgo Falls for its central locale between Houston and College Station, but its 800 acres of farmland and historic cotton gin building didn’t immediately scream 90s wonderland. With loads of customization and help from some exceptional vendors, we transformed the industrial space into a funky fête Cher Horowitz would have been proud to attend. Everything on this build-out was custom: the dance floor, chandeliers, draping columns, gold foil backdrops, exterior light installations, and more. Combined with neon signs, hot pink roses, and a towering 9-foot wedding cake masterpiece, their wedding day was a sweet, sweet fantasy, baby!

THE VIBE

Nineties glam. Spray-painted floral installations, mirrored centerpieces, crystal china, and a show-stopping 9-foot wedding cake brought the 1990s back to the historic Gin at Hidalgo Falls.
