No one could miss the vibrancy and joy of Claire and Henry’s wedding at the Malliouhana Resort in Anguilla. The couple’s celebration was a masterclass in bold elegance and tropical glam, starting with a jaw-dropping custom platform and orange aisle that set the stage for their dramatic beachfront ceremony. The vibrant color palette popped against the turquoise waters, creating a lively atmosphere that perfectly mirrored Claire and Henry’s personalities.
The weekend kicked off with a welcome dinner under the stars at Blanchard’s Beach Shack, where guests dined on mahi BLT’s and fries, and soaked in island vibes. But the real showstopper? The ceremony’s runway-style aisle flanked by cascading blooms and a backdrop straight out of a tropical dream. Dinner and the reception at Celeste took things up a notch with a head table that stole the show, thanks to custom lamps and lush floral arrangements. The dance floor stayed packed as tropical cocktails and live music kept the energy high.
The afterparty at Leon’s was the cherry on top. Guests were greeted with tequila shots and the White Lotus theme song before hitting a custom beachside dance floor to party under the stars. Claire and Henry’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration; it was an electric, XO Moreau-style experience filled with love, color, and unforgettable island vibes.

TL;DR: HIRE ALEX AND THE XO MOREAU TEAM TO PLAN YOUR WEDDING!!! If you are anything like me, the process of finding a wedding planner felt extremely overwhelming. There are so many options out there and every single person I met with seemed great, but they all seemed basically the same – that is, until I met Alex. I stumbled upon Alex on tiktok after seeing a video of an amazing wedding she put on which featured skeeball, and I was immediately sold. After a video call with Alex, I knew she was the perfect fit for my husband and me. There are a plethora of amazing planners out there, but what makes Alex stand out is her ability to create a wedding weekend that truly represents who you are as a couple from start to finish.
No idea was too out there for her, and she has a superhuman ability to translate my incoherent musings about what I’m picturing into reality. She came up with ideas to customize our entire weekend that we would’ve never thought of – an orange aisle, custom placemats, custom cocktail waiter towels, an insane custom dancefloor, you name it. Her creativity is unmatched.
And of course, she is an absolute joy to work with and an absolute pro. I was so impressed by her ability to seamlessly plan a wedding from abroad, working with almost entirely Anguilla-based vendors – I’m sure it was stressful for her at times but I was never the wiser. She was so responsive to my every question, no matter how minor. She always checked in on how I was feeling, gave me regular updates on progress, and just so clearly cared about our experience. Every single one of our guests spent all weekend commenting on how flawlessly the weekend went.
One example that stands out to me was how good she was at helping us choose a photographer – she gave us a shortlist based on a list of questions we answered for her, and every person on that list probably would’ve been a great fit. The person we ultimately chose was a superstar (shoutout Kait Pena) and Alex and Kait were an absolute dreamtime.
If you are looking for a planner who is the best at her craft not only in logistics, professionalism, vendor relations, and design but also in bringing your unique vision to life, you cannot do better than Alex. She certainly does not do “cookie cutter” weddings, and that is what makes her so so amazing. I cannot wait to watch her career progress because she is already a superstar and I however impossible it may seem right now, I have a feeling she’ll just keep getting better.
