annie & scott in @BRIDES 💛🌸💖💕💜 i’m gonna tell my grandkids about these two!! their wedding is what dreams are made of — a four day celebration that will never be forgotten! an iconic and trendsetting design showing that color is power and the most luxurious of events can be playful and fun. blessed blessed blessed is an understatement when talking about working with these love birds and creating for them. i love EVERY single one of our vendors who created magic and exceeded our expectations despite our very unique and questionable requests lol. a lot of trust was involved pulling this all together and i’m still so giddy over the end result. gah!! magic.

when designing this freshly built room specificall

when designing this freshly built room specifically for our party (reference the reel below on my feed for more context), i wanted to get weird. crazy right? 🤪
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
it was backrooms inspired with a trippy twist. i wanted our red room to feel like you walked into a creepy subway at 4am so we had all red lights and made them flicker like an old street light. the black and white checkered floor in the entire space was created to feel like a cyberpunk laundromat and glow brightly against the black tiles. and graffiti-ing the couch meant the most to me! the more i read this the more i question why my brain functions this way but i’m glad it does hehe.

✨ the closer you look the more details you discover! to name a few: the dusty blue buffalo check linen under the fur mustang overlays, brushstroke plaid napkins, the square leather menus with the food selections stitched on, actual onions in the florals, the 3d standing animal escort cards, and my personal fav — the butter stacks 🧈

i can truthfully say that this is the first wedding where we implemented 3+ different types of plaid / buffalo check into one space and it turned out beautifully. plus we also had another 627,949 patterns throughout the reception including a horse stampede band facade, custom patterned dance floor, and all sorts of animated signage. basically what i’m saying is maximalism > everything!

beautiful tent details for amanda and andy! the temperature on our final production day was 90 degrees with endless sun while the weather on the wedding day was 45 degrees with strong wind and light rain. even in both scenarios @whimhospitality shined with their beautiful sperry tents and made the design glorious, despite what was going on outside those walls.

if the finished centerpiece on the table doesn’t reach 9ft then it’s not for meeee!! some ppl don’t want tall centerpieces (no hate — to each their own) because they say they block the view for guests at the table buuuuut when everyone at this table was standing and vibin’ the centerpiece STILL didn’t block the view across the table — 🤍🌳 she was our cowtown NYC skyscraper. yum yum yum very tasty.
